The Cottage, at Journey Inn is a cozy vacation home nestled in a beautiful secluded valley (coulee), just 3 miles from Lake Pepin (the Mississippi River). The Cottage is for guests who are looking for a quiet get-away or retreat in

It has a fully equipped kitchen (with complimentary teas & coffee), casual dining area, living room with wood stove, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with a spa tub) and a covered porch. The living room, dining room and kitchen are a bright, open floor plan and fully tiled.



The two bedrooms have wooden floors and large windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other a double. Additionally, the living room has a couch that folds into a double bed, as well as several other chairs and a small
library. All rooms have great views of the surrounding hills and woods. All linens are provided.





The 66 acre property affords visitors opportunities for biking highways and back roads (and nearby rails-to-trails bike trails), snowshoeing, hiking our trails through prairies, woodlands and hills, as well as birding and star-gazing the wide-open evening skies. 



Nearby are art galleries, restaurants, shops and many opportunities for driving scenic roads along the Mississippi or back into the hills of The Driftless Region of Western Wisconsin. Seasonal art tours, The Stockholm Art Fair and
other activities abound through The Mississippi Valley region along and near Lake Pepin.

Massage and energy therapy sessions are available on site.  Kids and/or dogs are accepted (please call for details about our policies).

The Cottage Prices*

$165 per night (two night minimum stay), $25 each additional guest per night (inquire about maximum capacity).$990 per week (one night free), $25 each additional guest per night (inquire about maximum capacity).  Longer stays may receive additional discounts (eg. 2 weeks or more - inquire for details).  *Call for winter discounts.

Brunch or breakfast buffet may be available upon request (inquire if interested).  Each brunch is $20 per guest and each breakfast buffet is $15 per guest.  Prices subject to change without notice.
