The Cottage, at Journey Inn is a cozy vacation home nestled in a beautiful secluded valley (coulee), just 3 miles from Lake Pepin (the Mississippi River). The Cottage is for guests who are looking for a quiet get-away or retreat in a natural setting. Just 1 hour from St. Paul, MN, The Cottage is accessible, yet provides a sense of restful seclusion. We allow children and dogs at The Cottage - please contact us for our policies.
It has a fully equipped kitchen (with complimentary teas & coffee), casual dining area, living room with wood stove, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with a spa tub) and a covered porch. The living room, dining room and kitchen are a bright, open floor plan and fully tiled. The Cottage has air-conditioning for hot summer days. Nearby are art galleries, restaurants, shops and many opportunities for driving scenic roads along the Mississippi or back into the hills of The Driftless Region of Western Wisconsin. Seasonal art tours, The Stockholm Art Fair and The Cottage Prices* Quiet Season: 1/1/2012-4/30/2012 - $150 per night double occupancy (two night minimum stay), $25 each additional guest per night (inquire about maximum capacity). $900 per week (one night free), Children are charged an additional guest fee unless sharing the bed with their parents. Longer stays may receive additional discounts (eg. 2 weeks or more - inquire for details).
Pet Policy: Dogs only are welcomed with signing of a dog contract and nonrefundable deposit of $50. (1 or 2 dogs only)Prices subject to change without notice. CHECK-IN: 4 – 6 PM please let us know if you would will be coming later so we can be here to greet you. For an earlier check-in, call the evening before or the morning of arrival to see if it would be available. Cancellation Policy: Reserve room with deposit of ½ down. A full refund is given with a two-week advance notice of cancellation; a gift certificate for amount paid is issued with less than a 2 week notice. Deposit is non-refundable with less than 48 hours cancellation notice. $15 handling fee for cancellation unless you rebook at the time of cancellation. During Winter emergencies within 48 hours of your reservation, when there is an official warning to stay off the roads either in your location or ours, you will be issued a gift certificate for the amount of your deposit.
