Schedule of Events at Journey Inn...
- Writer's Weekend Retreat. Come to jump-start your writing project or to work on one already in process.
This retreat will be a weekend for writers only, providing a writer's space in Journey Inn's quiet, peaceful setting, which is free of distractions. You may write in your private room, or choose other writing spaces in the inn's two buildings. The fee of $300 includes two nights in your private guest room, snacks, two brunches and use of "The Retreat House" for writing rooms and preparing your evening meal if you prefer not to go out. You may also schedule a massage and/or a personal coaching consultation for an additional fee. Call us to schedule a retreat. We will need to book at least 3 of our 4 rooms to set the inn aside for this special retreat.
- Silent retreat weekends are available each season. Come for a period of quiet to work on a creative project, write, meditate, reflect, or just to rest. Group silent retreats can also be arranged by request. Contact us for details.

- July 25th & 26th • Lake Pepin Farm Tour
Stay two nights at Journey Inn. Enjoy a morning of picking blueberries, visit a local farm to taste &/or purchase free-range chicken, pasture-raised pork & beef and naturally cured meats, an organic goat cheese farm, a cheese factory that sells organic & WI-made cheeses, and an apple winery/cidery. The check-in snack and the brunches will feature ingredients from the local farms.
$325 for 2 people, 2 nights (plus tax) 25% of tour fee will be donated to the Pierce County food pantry. Call for more details - 715-448-2424
- August 16th & 17th • The Enneagram for Couples
Enjoy each others differences, creating harmony in your intimate relationship..... The Enneagram Personality system enables you to bring new awareness to your patterns of relating. By knowing and understanding your own and your partner's personality type, you will be able to work through inevitable differences more effectively. Eric Wheeler and Carolyn Germaine present this workshop in a fun, lively and compassionate format. The fee of $325 includes one overnight at Journey Inn, brunch, snacks and the workshop. Eric Wheeler is a Certified Teacher of the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, as taught by Helen Palmer and David Daniels. He offers seminars and private consultations in the Enneagram for churches, schools, businesses and individuals in the Upper Midwest. Carolyn Germaine has a Masters in Religious Studies and training in spiritual guidance from the Shalem Institute. Her Enneagram training is in the Narrative Tradition.
